    I have not once managed to successfully rig and export a character to either UE4 or UE5. countless tutorials on YouTube and still no luck. No matter the settings Auto Rig never manages to figure out fingers on all different characters which then leads to so much time trying to either correct it or start again. The one time I actually got something into UE4 both the hands and feet were deformed ??!! I have tried all different settings on different characters and no luck what so ever. this was made out to be an amazing addon but I am so very disappointed.

    Sincerely , I'm very disapointed.

    The lack of documentation is unacceptable. Your documentation is the one for the 2.8 version which is an ancestor. All sort of things changed or appeared and we have not enough documentation to figure what to do. It's very sad for 55$ CAD. It's told to be usable by people not super pro in rigging and also professionnal but it's not understandable at all for beginners even if I have a good basis in weight painting and rigging on Blender non-paid regular add-on.

    I bought this add-on to get a SIMPLE and QUICK way to rig high resolution characters , not single layer crappy character of 1000 polygons. It may work for single layer character of low quality but not for my Adobe Medium VR sculpts. None are rigged correctly . It's installing correctly the armature and even fingers but it's crap for any tentative to bind the skin . The result is always worst than what I had in the unpaid add-on from Blender. So why I paid so much by the way ? When I'll get fantastic results as we see with very basic single layer characters you tested in the tutorials ?

    Sorry but I feel I lost my money sincerely . I may be stupid but I sculpt with Adobe Medium since years and never was able to rig , even with beautifful quads and super cleaned mesh. I am almost become agressive against my PC, partially because of your add-on and lack of understanding. It's not user friendly at all. They give us sinonyms in the descriptions when we try to understand what does a thing. They don't clearly explain. All that I try , even in single layer ... or joint layers in a single one ... makes the interior of my layers popup on the exterior and it seems nothing solves this. Playing with UV or so does nothing .

    No decent informations on the WEB . It's like I bought this add-on to spend a year understanding how to manage . Some seems to tell it's about my normals but nothing I've done to clean the normals seems to have an effect. The problems are after placing the face references etc. The first half of the process is clear but it lacks so much pertinent infos for the rest.

    I have no problems with layers intersecting as I see it ... or very few , I have problems with the interior of my layer popping stupidly in the exterior and nothing allows me to change this apparently. It seems it's the most part of my problem even if I sometimes see crunchy zones or so.

    Will this application be horrible for all my VR sculpts ? In the tutorials , it looks very well for sculpts made all the way in blender but it feels like the FBX of Adobe Medium is not compatible with your pluggin and that the normals or the UV's are never gonna be working.

    I was so excited and now I feel like I'm the last of the stupids not understanding simple things. I have a course in IT and I'm unable to understand a small add-on . The interior of my cloth is popping at the exterior of it .. so ... stupid as that. It may not be linked to the add-on but I can't manage this so I loose my time since 2-3 days ... like a dumb. Don't have this problem in the blender add-on which is free but I have other problems so not a signe plugin on Blender works for my rigging.

    It's a recurring problem to me. I was never able to rig a complex character with clothes on it in Blender app and after buying this add-on , I'm even unable to just rig a simple layer character , which is WORST than the non-paid add-on. It's worst for 55$ more than before.

    Just to add to the frustration, we have to pay to get all the voxel options and buy other plugin if we want to rig other things that crappy single layer low polygons. As I understand it, if I don't pay another 40$ for the bloody other add-on I need to get better multilayer rigging and get rid of horrible popups .... I will continue getting horrible results. Finally , this product will cost me more than 100$ for it to work minimally correct ... and I'm still not sure adding the other paid pluggin will solve really my problem in the end.

    It looks like a cash trap to me but I respect people saying this product is fantastic. Even following the tutorial , it's not clear to me, it's not the options I see , sometimes based on Mac , not Windows with different presentations ... of a different version. The descriptions of options tells nothing in most cases for newcomers in rigging so it's not facilitating anything at all to me. This add-on seems to be made only for advanced advanced riggers and not at all for average people beginning in rigging.

    The plugin supposed to cost me 54$ is of no use if I don't buy the other plugin of 40$ because any technique to rig myltilayer fails and because of the interior of my layers popping everywhere .

    All my character is in beautifful quads . I tried to use SmartUV project before rigging to get the unpack uv's, to make normals rotate to the exterior like some wrote , not a single good result. All in quads ... well balanced polygons. Not a uncleaned mesh like some do.

    I had better result at the final with the Rigify plugin. What the hell I have to do to be able to rig characters with some clothes and some layers ? Paying for another pluggins allowing me to do better voxels ? And after this one , what's next ? Another plugins to make the price go to 200$. I'm even not sure it will correct my problem as documentation is so bad with Artell. If the third party pluggin for better voxel rig is made so poorly in the documentation , I'll just be more messed up .

    I will have to all do the weightpainting too ? It looks like this because everything pops everywhere or any technique is very average and creates breaking in the mesh. Why buying this as we have to do the same things than with Rigify and learn an all new complicated way to do it ? I was hoping this horrendous step of weightpainting would be automatic. It's IMPOSSIBLE for me to make this work decently. If feels like a BETA full of problems. I tried every bloody option , followed what I could understand of the tutorial which is for 12 versions older or so without any decent rig on the final . I'll try basic human single layer tomorrow , hoping to have only a success but if I can't rig other than crappy single layer , I may ask a refund. My experience is ridiculous and It's frustrating because my characters are artistic work , are well made and symetric etc. It's tough work and I'm stucked in the rigging process since MONTHS , searching for a decent solution.

    Come on ! If only I had decent documentation to understand all these rigging terms I don't know, how to adjust etc ! The explainations are not sufficient to understand what we should do for precise situations. I don't expect a complete 3d modeling course but it lacks of clarity a lot lot.

    It takes like 10 minutes to bind my skin , and I must go back after binding to correct each arm sensibility in the limbs options , then re-bind ? It's very hard to understand what is behind a problem with this add-on. I can't test a limb before to set it and bind skin so ... I wait 15 minutes each modification I do to re-bind skin etc ? I feel like I'll never be bloody able to just rig something without becoming agressive during a week. It's seems well made but unable to understand easelly how it works and the tutorials offered are unachieved ... badly made.

    It failed totally to make the rigging process better for me. The beginning is faster , I was even impressed by the quickness of placing reference points but the binding is totally unusable for my models. It may be good for goofy 10 000 polygons characters but it's a total fail by now. ... instead someone finds me a real tutorial for the SMART rigging. I even have one of the very most powerful computer of this time with plenty of hardware capacities .... but unable to rig on Blender.

    Sincerely ... I am ..... going to bed frustrated for the second day after my transaction. It's very poor moment for me.

    After 48 hours trying to figure how to just rig a well made Adobe Medium sculpt , all made like suggested , with separated layers for eyes , thongue and teeth ... I'm about to abandon this. Maybe it's the Blender 4 version that is not really compatible but I'm pretty sure it's my understanding of some steps. The problem is the documentation which is badly made and insufficient. Nothing about probable NORMALS or UV mapping problems causing all sort of popups etc. I'm like ...

    Blender could be so much better but it still fails horribly to deliver in some cases and sometimes, we feel like plugins add problems instead of solving them.

      About the Blender versions, indeed some parts of the documentation, especially video tutorials, may not reflect 100% the latest Blender version, but it is generally updated and close to it. This is a $40 addon with free updates, not $500, then please give some time to the author to work on it. Blender is evolving pretty quickly, keeping up the addon + whole documentation to date takes some time.
      Auto-Rig Pro is a "pro" software, as opposed to "consumer" software, meaning some tools, solutions are provided to solve problems if the automatic way does not work. Some models have special topology which don't work well with the skinning algorithm, in that case it's necessary to tweak the bind settings and weight paint manually if necessary.

    this plugin is incredible. i've been using the smart rigging and remapping features for a few months and they are like magic. how did i survive prior to owning this plugin? the dev is quick to respond to questions and the documentation is very good. so thankful to have this addon. (PS. CGDive youtube auto-rig pro tutorials were very helpful to me)

    I don't know where else to report this bug but whenever i am position bones if i change from Octahedral to Stick half of the bones become invisible in edit mode, the become visible if seelected. this happens in blender 4.0.2, I already updated to the lates version of ARP

      Hello Marco. Auto-Rig Pro has nothing to do with it, this is a Blender bug that was introduced recently with Blender 4x versions. It has been reported to Blender developers:
