I never managed to make a correct bak of a complex skin texture in three days, I had to spend more than ten hours there to test all the possibilities. I watched all the tutorials on youtube but each of them does not present the addon with the simplest objects which I reproduced without problem.

    I really regret my purchase.

It's amazing how easy it makes a normally painful task into a near pleasure.

Great addon! Saves a lot of time exporting textures for use in other programs.

It just works, saved me many times of hours from baking manual in Blender. Although I wish it supports many color profile like ACES and AgX as once you switch to those profiles it will crash the add-on.

This is a must-have for texture baking in Blender. It's very well documented and completely streamlines the baking process. I seriously can't say enough good things about it.

Just magic. A few parameters, one click and done. Almost perfect.

However, as 99% of the addons for Blender, SimpleBake is based on top of vanilla Blender's functionalities, which in some areas is quite poor.

For example, the background of the baked images is black and the edges are jagged. That makes no sense at all. Most of the time, it makes some black seams in the resulting maps over the mesh. The correct behavior should be to extend the average color to the background and fade the borders. That is what you get from other dedicated software to this matter, like Substance Painter.

I also find the UDIM workflow not as intuitive as the rest of the addon is, but it is nothing out of what I normally do without it and there is a pretty handy tip that tells you exactly what to do.

Out of that, the addon is just over the level.
