  I had really bad time with Blender's cycles baking setup. With this addon cycles baking works great. I might need added PBR baking features later too. I did lose sample progress count but this is apparently limitation of Blender's SDK for now and I did run into a few minor issues. The author added status for % of textures complete when I complained about lack of progress bar! It makes background bakes nicer with some status on completion.

  Best money I've ever spent on an addon. In just a few days, I'm convinced this is one of the most useful Blender utilities in that it simplifies a horrendously-complex internal baking system, cutting the time it would ordinarily take you well over half. It'll definitely be useful to me when preparing models for use in Unity. Many thanks to the creator!

  Wow, thank you for those kind words about SimpleBake. Yes, I agree that the internal baking system is a train wreck (and hence wanting to make SimpleBake). Maybe one day Blender will have a "normal" baking function but, for now, I'm glad SimpleBake can help.

  This is a miracle! I made shoes and spent 1 working day baking PBR cards. Now I did it in 1 click)) I would like to see the progress of the bar. I think this is the only comment. Thank you bro!

  Great to hear! I've left a long response on the status bar subject to one of the other reviews (from newawa). In short, I may look to do this over time, but there are pros and cons to what I would have to do to the code. Thank you!

  Brilliant! Always happy to hear about people using it to upload to Sketchfab. I love Sketchfab, and easier export was the whole reason I started with SimpleBake.

  one of the only bake tools with all the right maps that actually works! Blender is not usable while it bakes which is expected but if you look at the destination file you can see the progress as it bakes. Must have for bakers!

  Great to hear this! I left a long, rambling response to one of the other reviews re: the lack of a progress bar and how I may or may not implement one given the pros and cons. Have a look for that. At the moment, however, SimpleBake spits information out into the terminal so you can keep an eye on it.
