Thanks so much for the comment, the best of both worlds! There will probably always be more to say on the topic of photogrammetry and it's pretty fascinating to see where all this technology is headed! :)

Being myself very interested in photorealistic renders, I searched long ago a good training or at least useful tips about photogrammetry. This course is what I was hoping for. Thank you for the time and effort involved in making this path clearer for others.

Love the videos, at least the ones I have watched so far. Great insight even for advanced photogrammetry artists. The only negative I could find was the supplied source images for the different photogrammetry projects, for those who like to follow along with the different projects. The images are provided as .JPG files and have a lot of compression artefacts, leading to suboptimal results at best. I know all those images must be a lot of data when preserved as uncompressed TIFF or PNG, but to me at least, it doesn't make sense to provide the input data at all, if the quality contradicts everything you say in the videos about not saving your processed raw images as compressed JPGs. So either give us the high quality TIFFs or PNGs, or don't provide the images at all, as it might lead to frustrations later on.

Hi! Great to hear you're loving the videos!

We hear you on the files! We have in the notes that they're available upon request.

We weren't sure exactly how many people would want to use those exact files and knowing that this could be a problem for some people's bandwidth we have for now opted for a sort of middle ground.

Thanks so much for the feedback, we have your message too, we'll get the hi res files to you as soon as we can. :)
