Transparent Images As Planes (Tiap)
Instructions:
Download the .zip file
In Blender go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Install > (Locate the .zip file) > Install
Activate the Add-on
Import and Image as a Plane that has a black or white background
Select the Plane
Right Click to open the "Object Context Menu"
Select "Transparent Plane" at the bottom of the menu
Done
If you have imported an Image with a white background, then head to the shader editor and unmute the "Invert" node.
You can adjust the emission strength in the shader editor too
