  Absolutely Awesome; the only plugin I have ever paid for! and worth every penny. Now if only it would transfer the image as a decal onto the finished 3D product afterwards.. It would be PERFECT! Like an option let's say.

  I use this almost every day since I saw it on reviewed on YouTube. I animate drone shows and use this to help recreate anything from company logos and text, to a pug wearing sunglasses (yes, and it looked awesome). Love the new retrace feature!

  This addon does exactly what it sets out to do and It will save me hours of time.
  
  I started using it on version 2 and there were a few kinks. I reported these and to my enjoyment most of these have been amended in version 3. Even though there is still room for improvement, I have chosen to give this addon a 5-star review, because I'm confident that it will continue to become better and better with each update.

  With that said. If you have a logo, or other high contrast image that you need to trace and create a mesh from. I'd recommend this addon in a heartbeat. It will trace your image, and it will do so fast. You only have a few easy options to fiddle with, so it just takes a few tries to adjust these and have your mash created. The "retrace" functionality in version 3 is really a fantastic addition that makes the trace process a breeze. I also like the new functionality to add materials to the newly created mesh. It is very powerful to have the original images slapped on the mesh when you want to make some quick and dirty signs on buildings. or if you have some logotypes with gradient and details. A 3D representation can be made within a minute. Absolutely amazing. A quick tip, to avoid having to manually adjust the UV, make sure that the part of the image you want to trace goes from edge to edge of the image.
