Snap Sync

by Jacob Skrobis in Addons

I hit "Reset Selection Order" and reselected my objects, but the objects still won't Sync in Target First Mode?
Sorry for the inconvenience, but a quick reinstall of the addon will fix the issue.
Will the add-on work with linked or instance objects?
The add-on syncs transforms directly, so changes to instances or linked objects might not behave as expected. It’s designed for standard objects.
I installed it, but can't find it?
You’re in the wrong Blender context (e.g., Edit Mode). Ensure you’re in Object Mode with 1 or more objects selected to ensure the Item tab is visible.
How can I ensure the selection order is correct in "Target First" mode?
Select the Target object first, followed by the objects you want to sync. After syncing, click the Reset Selection Order button to prepare for the next operation.
Why does "Target First" mode require resetting the selection order?
The add-on uses a persistent global list to track the selection order. After syncing in Target First mode, this list needs to be cleared to ensure the next operation starts with a clean slate. You can reset it by clicking the Reset Selection Order button in the Snap Sync panel.
