Sci-Fi Robotics: Hard-Surface Kitbash Set
This is a hard-surface model pack I've been working on which I've decided to share. You can add them your library of kitbash parts to add lots of complex detail.
Included:
Standard
- 50 hard-surface kitbash models
- Each with Bevel & Weighted Normal modifiers
- 5 multi-purpose materials
- Blender Asset Browser integration
- Basic hand rigs (for robotic hand models)
- Free future updates (including new kitbash parts)
Deluxe
- All Standard content
- Demo File (includes two scenes within)
- Monobot V1
- Robotic Arm
It is recommended to use these models in tandem with other kitbash sets or models which you've made in order to add detail. Most of the parts are primarily abstract and complex and are designed for various possible use cases.
Each model also has a basic metal material by default. Some models have extra materials included for extra details. The kit includes the basic metal material, a smart-material version which adds grunge to edges and crevices, and two greeble materials (one for UV-mapping and one for Object-mapping). The major materials are marked as assets, along with all the actual models.
These parts were modeled primarily with the Fluent 3 modeling tool by CG Thoughts and some help from the Kit-Ops addon from Chipp Walters. Most of them were primarily designed with robotic models in mind but can be used in any context or method. For example, buildings or structures, or sci-fi tools or weapons.
The pack currently contains 50 hard surface models of varying complexity. More parts will be added over time, and purchasing any version of this product will allow for free access to updated model packs.
Hope this product helps you create some amazing projects!
