I bought it expecting a natural line, but the freestyle edge mark doesn't apply, and in version 4.3, it runs much slower than the basic line art modifier.

Seems interesting but didn't have the ease-of-use I had hoped for. I thought this was an add-on as opposed to a geometry nodes set-up where you need to connect things up yourself, including setting up collections. A previous add-on I used automates a lot of what you have to do manually here, and that's something I need in a professional workflow. I think it's very promising and hope that it could be developed further to have this functionality, as the previous add-on I used is depreciated in newer versions of blender.

Hi, I really like you're the line art nodifier you made, but I have a big issue with it. Is there any way to mask a specific part of a mesh that you don't want the line art to ever show up on, no matter whatever camera angel there is?

Yes, that is already a feature. Just create a vertex group with the name “Exclude” on you object and whatever vertices are assigned will not have line art on them.

Probably good for simple models, not so good for characters with details, kinda unusable for me with my current works, but maybe I'll use it for some simple stuff in the future.

Hello! So sorry that this hasn’t worked for you the way you initially expected. If this is not working well on a character then most likely due to the topology of the character. Much like the Grease Pencil line art tool, the cleanliness of the line art is very much dependent on the cleanliness of the objects in your scene.

This is great. I love all the control it gives me. I would like a you tube video or something to help me better take advantage of it. I am experiencing a bit of user error. I have a character who I am outlining with this but I want their eyes excluded. If I put them into a different collecting the Camera just draws through the eyes. If I put the eyes collection in to the "Occlusion Collection" of the modifier it doesn't seem to have an effect. I'm not sure how to proceed. Even if that can't be done the results are fantastic.

Hey! I have a video actually coming out for this in the coming weeks! It is currently in the editing stage!

I’ll make sure to explain more on the exclusion process.

Hey, send me a message through Blender Market’s inbox system. This sounds like a version issue.

Is there a step by step documentation or FAQ?

Hey! Yes there is! If you download the new 1.1 update it will be in the top left of the UI in a text box when you open it.

Excellent modifier! I was able to achieve incredible results with this and it was much faster than Blenders in built line art tools. A vast improvement and something I will be using regularly!

I always found line art renders amazing but I just couldn't do it, but with this addon it is easier than ever!! Especially now where Spiderman Across the Spiderverse is in cinemas this addon helps you to get the look you are looking for. You definitely need to buy it, it is just amazing and that you can get it for 10$ is just unbelievable!
