On macOS, to run the addon, you need to launch Blender from the terminal using the following command:

Open the terminal, copy this command, paste it into the terminal, and run it by pressing Enter.
/Applications/Blender.app/Contents/MacOS/Blender
You can copy and paste it into the terminal. If you have multiple versions of Blender and, for example, named it Blender 4.2, the command would be:
/Applications/Blender\ 4.2.app/Contents/MacOS/Blender
