Entangled - Rope Rigging
No, this system is procedural and immediate, so the final result is deterministic and based on the configuration settings. The wind animation is procedurally based on time. The rope does not (yet) respond to changes in momentum.
Currently, make an empty for each attach point, parent these to the desired bones, and link them in the modifier. In the future, when Blender supports it, bones could be linked directly.
This feature is still in development and currently only works for rope extensions, not for the main block ropes. This will change in the future.
Depending on the exporter used, the file will automatically back down to a static mesh. If not, then just apply the modifier first, or use the "Object > Convert > Mesh" function in the 3D viewport.
Make sure you are using the latest version of Blender. This addon only works from Blender version 4.1 onwards.
