  This is brilliant in concept and so simple to use.
  I spent a long time crafting a custom volumetric scene in Cycles only to find out it can't be rendered!
  I used this to create artist driven volume beams

  Anyhow, you can have so much fun with this, i didn't even tap into the smoke part yet.
