Over the years, this tool has helped me countless times. In the beginning, I used to throw the impossible at Mark. There was a thing the addon couldn't do? A couple of days later there was an update.
That way the meshes created from curves get the topology they deserve, plus you can connect curves to form a mesh.
I once had to recreate some industrially produced part, so I drew along its wavy lines with a pencil, scanned them, made curves in Illustrator, and finally connected them with C2M. Had I been alowed to physically destroy the object via cross-sections for anothe curve or more, it would have been perfect. The addon sure was, as well as the support!

I had a problem getting it to work so I sent my Blender file to Mark.

He made a video for me, using my file, on how to get it to work!

Oh, and he did it in less than 24 hours.

    Talk about amazing customer support!

    Thanks for your help Mark.

This add-on is pretty much essential for modeling detailed curved surfaces on vehicles such as cars and boats. Control point selection for patches takes some getting used to, however.

Thank you for leaving the review Lauren - yes, Blender's curve control point selection can be tricky. I often use the 'L' key to select linked control points and then delete the selection as necessary.

I don't use Blender a lot. But occasionally I'm using this tool. The demo video is realy helpful especially for people like me who forget how things work.

A brilliant addon that makes Blender much more CAD like. Coming from 40 years in the Mould and Pattern industry and working with Solidworks, Verametric's and Point Control I am now 3D printing products and Curves to Mesh is more than exactly what I needed. Being new to Blender Mark's personal support of his addon went FAR beyond excellent! This is a MUST have addon for serious modeling! Bravo!!

To understand why this add-on is really great for me, let me explain a little. Back in Jan 2019 I had a major stroke. I lost all my freelance clients and can no longer work. I have neuropathy in my hands so I look for add-ons that will drastically cut back on my hand/mouse use. I currently can only use a drawing tablet. So, now I only do Blender as a hobby. Anyways (to shorten the story).

Converting Curves to Mesh in vanilla Blender is a lot more mouse work. It can be be done fairly easily without this add-on, However, getting this Add-on is a major plus for me. Plus, it has some features you don't get in vanilla Blender editing curves.

    1) Preview of your CtoM mesh before apply changes. It is a live preview.

    2) You can control the resolution (poly/quads) of the mesh.

    3) It creates the mesh, but leaves the Curves in tack so you can go back and make changes. Even though it doesn't do live editing of your created mesh, you can just delete the created mesh and redo the process. Its is real quick.

    Conclusion:
Even though you still have to model your curves the normal way, the rest of the process of creating a mesh is 3 times faster then doing it all by hand. Which is why this add-on is great for me. Less hand/mouse work, the less pain I feel.

I am going to really depend on this add-on. Even though I can do modelling using the cube and mirror mod, it is more mouse work. So, this add-on is more my style. It is a time saver for me!!!

Very useful tool. Thank you for making it.
    I need help on
    1. How to create several connected patches.
    2. How to grab several control sticks. Like on a corner of a car.

This is an excellent product and it comes with equally excellent support. The learning curve isn't too steep and the time saving and product enhancements that this add on delivers are absolutely top notch. Hopefully Mark will find a bit of time in his busy schedule to put together a couple of tutorials to help those of us in the noobie department to get to work with the addon even quicker.
