This is such a great plugin, it's a must have for Blender/Stream Deck user. Simple but powerful. I absolutely love it.

Cool idea, not really working for me. Using Blender 3.6, latest updates on Stream Deck XL. Enabled python tooltips, Ctrl+C on hover to capture tip, then set as message within Stream Deck. Getting errors when trying to switch between brush/fill tool, etc, was able to get a couple things to pop up, but I think I'll just stick to using Pie Menus

Dead easy solution for Stream Deck Blender integration. Using Python commands is so much better than other solutions working by bidding hotkeys to stream deck buttons. Highly recommended.

I like this plugin, but no matter how I install it, it never seems to work on different computers or versions of Blender. I'm not sure if it's related to the Streamdeck model I'm using. I have a regular 3x5 version with the latest driver.

Hey kyy921. Sorry to hear you’re having issues with the add-on. If you’d like to DM me more specifics about how you’re trying to use it and where it’s going wrong I’d be more than happy to try and resolve those issues for you. Sorry for the inconvenience!

EXACTLY what the doctor ordered. Have been looking for a solid solution for working with my Stream Deck XL and Blender. I use commandPort in Maya and also found a somewhat yanky Blender port of it, but this addon wraps it up nicely. And you also get a plugin including 666 icons! I guess it's easy/doable but I'd like an option in the plugin to run Python scripts from my local harddrive as well. Maintaining and editing my scripts in Stream can come in handy, but it's not ideal. I prefer local files for things like version control etc. But it's not a deal breaker. I'm super happy you made this, Kruithne!

      Hey Henrik!

Glad you like the add-on! In regards to the option to run Python scripts from your local hard-drive, I have another add-on called MacroMan which I'll link below. This allows you to create Python scripts directly in Blender's internal text editor or externally in your own editor, and have them defined as part of Blender's API.

Once hooked up, you can reference your scripts loaded by MacroMan with a simple API call on the StreamDeck such as bpy.ops.macro.my_example_macro().

Let me know if that solves it for you!
