Vase is a growing library of 3D models of aesthetic vases and pots with procedural textures and materials. You can create your own unique vase shader using the provided nodes. Vase comes with different shaders, such as, (Vase Master Shader), (Color Patterns), and more.

Assets

Vase (initially) has 25 models. Each model belong to a collection. Vase (initially) has 6 Collections and each collection has different models of vases and pots.

Textures and Materials

Vase has different nodes that are well organized for usage and learning purposes. These nodes are (Vase Master Shader), (Color Pattern 1), (Color Pattern 2), (Noise), (Voroni Noise), (Waves), (Waves 2), (Hard Mask), (Soft Mask), (Dots), (Subsurface Color), (Gradient Color). You can mix these nodes together to create your own vase shader. More nodes will be added in future updates.





Note:

In Vase Master Shader, don't attach the outputs that have green reroutes (dots) to anything, they are just there to make the shader organized and easy to work with.




Textures and Materials Installation

Method 1

File - Append - Blender file (Vase) - (Material / NodeTree)

If you want to use these nodes without appending theme over and over again, follow the next steps:

First, append the nodes from NodeTree, then go to ( File - Defaults - Save Startup File) so that you can use these nodes whenever you want.



Renders








limitation

1. if you applied the scale of an object, you need to go back to the Shader Editor and change the scale value from the Vase Master Shader.

2. Since the texturing is procedural and not based on UV, If you rotate an object, don't apply the rotation or else the textures will look stretched and not normal.

3. These nodes are made to fit an object that is cylinder shaped (looks like vases and pots).
