Typewriter Text Effect Add-on

Description The “Typewriter Text Effect” add-on allows you to create a typewriter typing effect on text objects in Blender. It includes properties to control the text, typing progress, and cursor blink speed.

Installation

1. Download the add-on ZIP file.
2. In Blender, go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons.
3. Click Install and select the downloaded ZIP file.
4. Enable the add-on in the list of installed add-ons.

Usage

Properties

• Text: The text to be typed.
• Typing Progress: Manually controls the typing progress (0.0 - start, 1.0 - end).
• Cursor Blink Speed: Speed in seconds for the cursor to blink.

Operators

• Update Typing Effect: Updates the typing effect based on the current progress.
• Clear All: Clears the text and resets the typing progress.

Interface Panel The “Typewriter Text Effect” panel is located in the Typewriter Text tab in Blender’s VIEW_3D. It allows you to adjust the text properties and control the typing effect.
