  I spent a couple of days searching for a good Tree generator that I could use in Blender, I basically wanted something that would give me as much control as possible over the various parameters. I tried Plant factory which is awesome but I really wanted something similar that worked within Blender so I can model/create the tree to fit my scene. I tried a free generator from Leonardo Ambrosini which did a good job but just was a bit too constrained. After contacting Lance (the author/creator) who assured me that it could use curves, I purchased this Generator and am not dissapointed at all, it is a robust system with a host of different nodes for different types of set ups. My only warning is that it is not a simple, one click solution though and you need to invest a bit more time to really get the most out of it. Maybe the author could possibly do with having a lite version with an existing set up with controls on the modifier panel for simple setups. Having said that it does have a bunch of presets. It also works with Blender 4.2
