The Wire - Lighning Fast Audioreactive Instancer In Geometry Nodes

An (audio)reactive instancing setup in GN - We instance a new cylinder frame by frame on a custom shaped guide curve, rotate and scale them by a current value with some "glow and glitter" !

The method and the node setup is as simple as possible, for easy readability and reuse and utilizes only Geometry Nodes. The nodes are labeled for further clarification.

The interpolation of the scaling, the audio, the object to instance and it's scale is completely customizable. Important to note, that even if the setup is presented as an audioreactive setup, it can be driven by manual keyframes or any other value too !

The file is optimized for and rendered in Eevee (Render Viewport animation). Of course, you can set up any renderer you wish.



-(Since it is a concept demonstration, it is kept as simple as possible.) The GeoNodes trees are kept clean for easier readability and have detailed explanations. Everything is built from the base. The point of these setups is to provide a base core of the concept, node from node, instead of contracting all into node groups with exposed settings, which makes everything harder to read and dissect.

You can embellish, refine as you wish based on the core or realize your own ideas.
