Universal Attractor In Geometry Nodes - Horror Vacui

A pure Geometry Nodes setup of a universal "attractor" effect. A custom "attractor" object (here a vacuum nozzle) is moved around ( manually or keyframed) and "collects"  the distributed points (and whatever objects you instance on them), by moving all instances toward the object in a gradient defined by distance and the settings parameters. A "gravity" effect is added.

The setup is fast and can be used for variety of effects from black holes to, in this case, a vacuum cleaner.

The attractive "vacuum" strength (attractive force) and distance is customizable. The whole setup is completely procedural.

(All Geometry Nodes trees are clean and as simple as possible on purpose. So is the demo video. The focus is on the concept. The nodes are not contracted into node groups, for easier readability, nor are the main values exposed to the Modifier tab, for clarity.)



-(Since it is a concept demonstration, it is kept as simple as possible.) The GeoNodes trees are kept clean for easier readability and have detailed explanations. Everything is built from the base. The point of these setups is to provide a base core of the concept, node from node, instead of contracting all into node groups with exposed settings, which makes everything harder to read and dissect.

You can embellish, refine as you wish based on the core or realize your own ideas.
