Energy Stream

The controls of the energy stream effect can be found in five main objects:

  1. Stream.Controller - An empty with two custom properties (scroll all way down in the object properties tab, the orange square).
    • Overload - controls the overload effect of the stream
    • Speed - controls the overall speed of the effect
  2. Target - An empty which is the parent of all the effect shown on the target (the object that is hit by the stream) of the stream. One of them is called Impact; you want that one to have the same shape of your target mesh. The default one is a cube, you can replace the shape going to the mesh tab (the green triangle) and select your mesh from the dropdown.
  3. Source - An empty that controls the curvature of the stream when moved around.
  4. Destroyer.GeometryNodes - An object with a Geometry Nodes setup that takes as input a collection containing the fragments of the ground and moves animates them. The mesh of this object controls the shape of the "digging" effect". To obtain the fragments i used a free add-on (embedded in Blender), Cell Fracture.
  5. Destroyer.Particles - A simple particle system setup to show little floor fragments flying.

Punches

This effect is divided in three main components:

  1. Punches.Controller - An empty that controls the direction of the punches when rotated. It has a custom property (scroll all way down in the object properties tab, the orange square) to control the speed of the fists.
  2. Punches.GeoemtryNodes - An empty that controls the direction of the punches when rotated. It has a custom property (scroll all way down in the object properties tab, the orange square) to control the speed of the fists.
  3. Destroyer.GeometryNodes - Geometry Nodes setup that takes the collection with all the targets that are meant to be hit by the fists. All the main controls are here (Offset, Density, Hit scale, Spin).
  4. Destroyer.Particles - A simple particle system setup to show little floor fragments flying.

You can control other visual settings taking a look at the node groups in the materials (they are all listed in the material tab in the geometry nodes for convenience).
For example, you can make the fists have a "spiritual look" (like Black Star from Jojo's Bizzarre Adventures) or a normal toon look (like Rufy's gatiling from One Piece), or change colors/emission intensity.
