  I have both this and Shipwright and they're both really good, but I kinda wish you could combine them to get the best of both worlds. For example, the starships are always long and thin, while Shipwright models are chunkier, but don't have the option to add boosters. Starships have great detail, but Shipwright models are instantly more colourful and realistically rendered out of the box. I wish the panelling on Shipwright was as fine as on starships etc. So I can't help feeling that, at some point, all of Mark's work is going come together for the ultimate spaceship creation addon!

  Thanks for this thoughtful review Steve. The Shipwright and the Starship Generator are constructed in different ways: The Shipwright uses my other add-ons to create its shapes, whereas The Starship Generator uses Blender's Geometry Nodes which is relatively new. As Geometry Nodes becomes more sophisticated, so will the Starship Generator, and perhaps it will merge with the Shipwright at some point.
