  I needed snow cover on an environment scene quickly and chose this addon. My first impression is great: easy to use, intuitive, delivering great results out of the box. Enough settings to customise but not unnecessarily many to clutter and make the UI confusing. I got the effect I wanted easily, it was a fun and satisfying experience to work with Snow. I'll be happy to use it again whenever I need snow next.

  VERY fast! Really impressed by the directional snow as well - makes it really easy to add snow to any geometry. Can handle fairly complex geometry better (and wayyy faster) than Blender’s own “Real snow” addon.

  complex mesh like tree, grass ... snow effect doesn't look good, and heavy to proceed snow,
  sometime crash happen, and when the menu dissappear, you get some errors

  Snow is a geometry based add-on (not texture based). The add-on can handle reasonable level of complexity in your objects but if you need snow, lets say on a grass field, than it is best to use the ground geometry instead of all the grass objects for the snow creation.
