Add-on Overview
The add-on is separated into two major regions:
1. "New Shot" is where you add new shots.

2. "Shots" is where all your existing shots live, where you can see how many shots you have, remove specific or all shots, see their duration, change cameras, go to next/previous or jump directly to a specific shot, as well as lock all your shots so that you don't accidentally remove or change any of them.

Adding a New Shot ("New Shot" region)
1. Select the camera you want to create a shot for
2. Go to the frame you want the shot to start at
3. (Optional) Give your shot a name
4. Click on Add Shot

Done! Your shot will be added to the scene and will now appear on your list of shots, in the "Shots" region of the add-on.

Note:
If you don't give your shot a name upon creation, a generic name is going to be automatically given to your shot.
In any case, you can always rename any shots at any time by just clicking on its name and typing a new one, in your list of shots in the "Shots" region of the add-on.

Removing Shots

  • Individual Shots
To remove a shot, you can click on the X button at the end of the shot's row, in the "Shots" region of the add-on.
Alternatively, you can also select any number of shots on the Timeline and press the Delete shortcut(X key, by default) on the markers region(the darker, lower part of the Timeline) or click on Delete Marker in the "Marker" menu in the Timeline.

  • All Shots at Once
To remove all shots at once, press the Remove All Shots button, located at the bottom of the add-on.

Note:
If you accidentally remove any or all shots, don't worry! Just Undo(Ctrl + Z/Cmd + Z) and you'll get your shots back.

Navigating Through Your Shots
You can jump to next/previous shot by using the Next/Previous Shot buttons.
You can also jump directly to a specific shot, by clicking on the button indicating its start frame(that's the first button in each shot row, in your list of shots).

Change Shot's Camera
At any time, even after creating a shot, you can change the camera attached to your shot in the "Camera" column of your shot row, in your list of shots.

Shot Duration Indicator
The "Duration" column shows you the duration of each of your shots, in seconds.

OPTIONS

"Show Camera Name"
always, in both Camera View and the 3D View

"Hide Inactive Cameras"
Enabling this will solo/only show the active camera(the camera attached to the current shot), hiding all the inactive cameras—getting rid of the clutter.

Lock Markers(the "lock" icon)
Locks all shots and markers, to help you avoid unintentionally editing or deleting any shots.

Extra Tip:
You can assign shortcuts for the Next/Previous Shot buttons to speed your workflow up even more.

Finally...
Shotlist will automatically detect all shots you've already added to your scene, so it works out-of-the-box with all your existing Blender files that already contain added shots.
