    This is a first-impressions review, so take it with a grain of salt. This was a bit of an impulse buy, but I have to say I'm impressed. User interface is very intuitive, and I was able to generate a pretty cool starfighter using the built-in controls to adjust and add levels without consulting a tutorial. I mostly do sub-d modeling, and was expecting the generated mesh to be a mess of triangles and n-gons, but it was surprisingly good. It was nice to have an option to finalize the mesh in separate parts. It was even nicer to see that the mesh was mostly quads with reasonable edge flow. Easy to edit, and pretty darn close to subdividable out of the box. There aren't a ton of included materials, but the ones that are there are quite good, and very configurable due to being procedural. Plating generator is all-around a great addon and helps justify the purchase by having a wider variety of use-cases.

    I bought it on sale, and am thrilled with the price. I would say at the full cost, it's maybe slightly pricey, but only because it's a bit niche. That's a subjective take. The addon quality is 100% there. Not surprising from the guy who made 5-star addons like P. Plotter, Flowify, and Conform Object.

    I got the entire shipwright package on a whim and I am so pleased that I did. Before purchasing I wondered if it might be a little overpriced, but it's honestly not. Yes, as a spaceship generation tool it's fantastic but the random shape and panelling add-ons are incredibly powerful in themselves. Been playing about with it for an hour or so and already it feels like a major part of my creative workflow.

    I'd previously tried random flow, which seemed capable of giving excellent results but I found to be quite confusing and unpredictable. This bundle offers better results with less effort and the documentation is far superior. Possibly my favourite add-on, along with hops/Boxcutter.

    Works exactly as promised and fast support for questions! Invaluable for filling in a scene or quickly adding a placeholder ship for concept art before hero assets are complete.
