This is a great material library. I do like the addition of the little E or C on the material previews to better denote which render engine they're intended for. (i'm not sure if that was there when i first bought it and simply missed it?). But I just downloaded the 2.0 update and noticed it.

Anyways, well worth the money, easy to use, and I haven't had any real issues that I've noticed. I'm primarily using them for 3D product shots for our company whether sending mockups to customers or even for actual "photography" on our website/marketing.

Hi Matthew, thank you very much for your review. You are right, the icons are from 2.0 version, I'm always trying to make it more user friendly. I will add baking and the possibility to save presets locally. Best, Sanctus

There are already a lot of positive reviews and I can agree with most of them so let me get straight to the negatives. The parameters available directly in the node groups alone won't always give you a desirable outcome. Take the roof tiles as an example, they have added wear and tear and moss, you can change all of that but they didn't give you an option to change how individual tiles are spaced out or how they overlap, so the result simply looks wrong, leaving you feeling like there aren't enough options exposed, but getting into the node tree and trying to figure out what does what is in itself another laborious task the library wasn't designed for. On top of this, some of the greatest-looking materials that you saw on the store page and loved require an immense amount of geometry detail to work as they rely heavily upon surface displacement, as opposed to a geometry nodes and shader nodes hybrid approach. Even with simplify turned on most of the time, you'll find your viewport performance reduced to a hault as soon as you start using these displacement-based shaders. Overall I got my money's worth for the price, but as of right now I can't say I'm using it that frequently over other material libraries or simply lily's texture scraper.

I wish you would have asked me for recommendations or contacted me in any way before adding such a negative review. I'm sorry it was such a horrible experience for you.
