The library that is used is not supported anymore, and there is no simple way to add the Blender asset libraries that you already set up.

This add-on is dead. Developer has gone MIA and is nonresponisve and has not been active since March 2023 on Discord. Library Ravage uses no longer exists, purchase at your own risk.

It replaces Substance Painter for me and it delivers all I need for realistic texturing without having to look into the node tree. The bake masks function is just such a smart and amazing tool! And the UI is super clean and beautiful.

I love this add-on, still need to learn more, but once you understand the basic functionality it's very powerful and unlimited, definitely one of the must have add-ons for Blender, can't wait for v3

This is the best overall layered texturing addon for Blender, and I have tried them all. Some of the best features of Ravage that put it a bit above the competition are:

Ravage is the most well-optimized of any setup I have tried. The reason blender can slow down in the texturing process is through using many nodes, especially bump and procedural nodes. The developer for Ravage has done a terrific job of ensuring procedural nodes can be baked easily, and that isolation modes can be toggled to temporarily disable bump nodes. Ravage uses nodes very efficiently and strategically with no excess, which really helps with the speed. Those of us who have Mask Tools now it can be slow since each node group has many, many nodes that you may not need (which is useful but makes things slow). Note, Ravage can use custom node groups too, so if you really wanted to you can use Mask Tools with Ravage's custom node setup, too.

The ability to setup custom brush, texture, and material libraries that show live previews in Ravage is such a terrific component. Someone mentioned that Ravage does not ship with materials, but I'd recommended just getting the free Quixel Bridge, download whatever brushes and textures you want, then point Ravage to it (custom folders also work, which is great for other texture sources). With the live preview feature I can easily see textures and brushes in my library before having to load them in, which default Blender cannot even do.

Development is continuing strongly with Ravage and there are some really terrific features in the pipeline, including improved Ravage Connect for even easier material finding (specifics and more features are listed on public Discord if anyone is curious).

Ravage makes doing many tasks clean and fast. For example, Ravage adds really useful shortcuts, popup menus, and easy to access buttons which allow you to really quickly set a brush, paint, or fill polygons. This might not sound super exciting, but saving so many clicks for all those steps really speeds up workflows and makes things more 'fun'. I've also looked the at the node tree Ravage makes, and it is the cleanest setup of any addon I have tried. Many addons will just overlap the nodes and make actually looking at the node tree nearly impossible, but Ravage sets them up to look good visually, so I can even change things in the node tree itself if I want to.

Overall Ravage does an excellent job with layering, texturing, baking, masking, etc. The factors mentioned above are especially unique to Ravage and really show the value, IMO.

The creator should include a couple of free materials with the addon. I had to look for materials to get started.

It's probably one of the best if not the best Addon I bought for Blender, I really cannot understand why it's not a lot more popular.

v2 is amazing, it has it all: layers, folders, masks, filters, bakes, materials lib...
I can finally work on nice textures directly inside Blender, so glad.
Very stable, no errors, no crashes.
It offers what what the texturing in Blender should be.
