Quick Toggle Visibility
What is the difference between these hidden modes?
In fact, there is no essential difference in the view display, you can choose the corresponding hiding mode according to your preference and the complexity of the project.
Wire is more suitable for simple and intuitive scenes where you can tell what an item is based on the wireframe, but it may not be suitable if there are too many products or if the wiring of an item is too complex
Bounds is more suitable for a large number of objects, and you don't need to know what it is, it looks a bit more simple than Wire, you can judge its general size and location information by the border
Hide in viewport is more suitable for people with OCD, it can make your screen cleaner, but it should be noted that if you hide this object in viewport, you can't see the keyframes of this object in the timeline before this object is shown.
What are the main application scenarios of this plug-in?
Part of my job is to make three-dimensional installation instruction videos of products, which contain a large number of parts, such as screws, nuts, etc., and these operations need to be performed step by step. Some parts should not be displayed before reaching the corresponding step. After reaching the corresponding step, it will be allowed to be displayed. This requires repeatedly setting the show and hide keyframes of this part, which is very tedious, so I developed this plug-in. To reduce my workload, I think this can definitely be used in more scenarios, especially when multiple objects need to be shown or hidden, which can greatly reduce your workload.
