Procedural Digital Art Images

by smice in Surfacing

This collection of procedural materials consists of 48 very individual "material shaders". Many of them are based on complicated mathematical formulas. Some have a very simple structure, but a great result. The materials are intended as individual digital images for a gallery setup, or to render them individually and implement them as a print.

The parameters in the material shaders are often very finely adjusted. This means that just a few decimal places change the result completely. In the worst case, the entire look disappears. This is why the material shaders are mostly not grouped, so you can see and understand the structure of the materials better.

The digital images are grouped together in a stage. All 48 on a wall plus an individual setup. This is controlled via a geometry modifier. So that you can easily browse through the materials. There is also a small animation of a 3D image and 12 image frames that can also be controlled and changed using geometry modifiers.

All 48 images (materials) are saved as assets. This makes it easy to transfer them to your own objects. The ZIP File contains all 48 Pictures rendered 800px * 800px.

IMPORTANT!!

All materials must be adjusted using the material shader when used for anything other than on a surface.
The shader nodes, texture coordinate, mapping, scale, play a major role in this.
