PostShade-PuddleFX is an handy shader nodegroup that will allow you to add puddles to your materials, based on displacement map if you got one or noise based if you just want to add puddles details to your custom material. Easy and quick to set up just append the group from the source file, plug it in the shader and adjust the parameters to find your best visual.
It works in Eevee super fast , but it can also be used with Cycles where the real microdisplacement will give you really good results .

Choose your Puddle based on Height Map or Procedural Noise instead.
Add Mud for Realism and Control the Color.
Choose Puddle and Fill Smoothness Amount.
Change Puddle Roughness and Clearcoat as well as Transparency Color.
Suitable Also for Cycles with Microdisplacement and Raytracing.
