Introduction
Poly Drop is a Blender add-on designed to help you easily add realistic water droplets to your 3D models. This documentation will guide you through the basic usage of the add-on.
Installation
- Download the Poly Drop add-on ZIP file.
- Open Blender and go to Edit > Preferences.
- In the Preferences window, select Add-ons from the side menu.
- Click on the Install... button at the top.
- Navigate to the downloaded ZIP file, select it, and click Install Add-on.
- Enable the add-on by checking the box next to Poly Drop in the add-ons list.
Usage
Add Droplets
- Select the object you want to add droplets to.
- Go to the Poly Drop tab in the Sidebar (press N if the Sidebar is not visible).
- Click the Add Droplets button.
Customize Droplets
- Adjust the Density and Size sliders to customize the appearance of the droplets.
- Use the Material selector to choose or create a new material for the droplets.
Update Droplets
Make adjustments to the density, size, or material and click the Update button to apply changes to the existing droplets.
Randomize Droplets
Click the Randomize button to shuffle the appearance of the droplets for a more natural look.
Remove Droplets
To remove the droplets from the selected object, click the Remove button.

Tips
- Experiment with different densities and sizes to achieve the desired look.
