Pear (3 Photoscans)

by Marcin Cieśla in Models

First of all, let's be honest.

Wel well well, what do we have here? It's just another set of scanned fruits, isn't it? And the author probably made them to make some money. How dare he, this author!

Will this package change your life? Will it make you never look at 3D graphics the same way again? Has anyone ever asked for these models to be made? Will the money I earn from them make me build a treasury like Scrooge McDuck? Well… probably not. But that didn't stop me from creating this pack anyway, haha! Boy, life is full of such unexpected plot twists!

Why does it even exist?

M̶o̶n̶e̶y̶,̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶c̶o̶u̶r̶s̶e̶.̶ I mean... passion, commitment, attention to detail, whatever. And obviously I'm very excited to show the fruits (pun intended) of my hard work here. I have heard that it is good to use such phrases. For some reasons. By the way, why do PR people always say they're excited? Is it even healthy to be constantly excited about the world around you? So many questions, yet so few answers.

Stats and other boring informations are below (yawn).

Retopology for each model and LOD level was done manually. Roughness maps were recreated from scratch in Substance Painter.

Scans were made using the cross-polarization method to eliminate all unwanted light information. The colors have been calibrated with a color checker to match the actual references as closely as possible.

Package contains:

  • 3 photoscanned models
  • 5 LOD versions for each model
  • files in 3 formats: BLEND, FBX, OBJ
