  Honestly needs more instructions. I have been messing with it for a couple hours and the POM effect only works on basic shapes i make in blender. I have not yet got it to work on the piece of furniture i imported into blender and i have no idea why.

  Greatest parallax utility for blender. Excited for future updates! The dev responded quickly and helped me set everything up. +1 would recommend if you need POM in blender

  I've been using StampIt daily since it came out and loved every second of it. The same goes for Parallax. It's a bit more of a niche product but it exectues this with absolute ease! One click and you got yourself a ground that looks hyperrealistic from almost any angle while saving you precious CPU power. I think this might be the best parallax occlusion tool out there for Blender. As for people saying that you can't export this into other engines - paralax is a shader trick - done in almost any engine so no you can't "bake" or "export" it but you can do this exact effect in any engine - this is just an addon for blender.

  I am very disappointed. The results are not as expected. With some textures it looks very blurry and I won`t use it again. The seller writes that his technique has been used for games for a long time. Be aware, that you can use this addon ONLY IN BLENDER and not anywhere else.

  If you want to use POM in Unity or Unreal you can achieve it with the Shader Graph very easily.

  Great addon! I can now create more realistic materials, especially for the ground, without having to worry about exact square meshes and subdivisions that take up a lot of memory.
