  The addon was created not on geonodes but on animation nodes. Yes, the author indicated this, using the phrase “has native Geometry nodes”, due to my own carelessness I fell into this trap. In the downloads are versions of examples created on 2.92. As a result, I got tired of trying to revive this project.

  Sorry you feel this way, but it's definitely not a "trap". This is a legacy product, price is decreased to 1$, because it's impossible to make it free on BM, or I would have to pay for hosting it myself. Please read the description of products before spending money, even if it is just 1 dollar.
  Here is text directly from product page:

  "This product is here for people who have bought it in the past.
  Animation Nodes addon, which is necessary for this system to work, is no more in development and Blender has native "Geometry nodes".
  If you decide to use it anyway, there will be no support for it anymore.

  There was a learning curve to get the desired results, and like some other people mentioned there may be some manual adjustment required after the neon is generated, but the results are amazing. Definitely 5-stars.

  Love this tool, the results are freakin' amazing! But... it takes a bit of effort to understand how to work with it. Once you get over the learning curve and understand how it works - it then becomes easier to use.
  
  This tool is worthy of five stars, but I gave it four because it's not finished! :) I mean... it needs a UI in the N-Panel! It's like putting a Lamborghini V12 engine in a station wagon. Making this bad-ass tool an add-on with a N-panel UI will reduce the learning curve tremendously as well improve the overall workflow, not to mention the opportunity to add other features such as a library of assets or neon colors and styles.

  I'll keep my fingers crossed. Hopefully four stars is enough to motivate you to push this tool to the next level. Regardless, it's still an awesome tool. Thanks!

  Thank you, Miguel for the review! I'm happy Neon Generator is useful to you despite it's flaws. I agree it could be more user friendly, but it's mostly because of limitations of Animation Nodes and Blender itself. In future, when geometry nodes will be mature enough, it should be possible to bring this all to a whole new level!

  It's been said multiple times, so let me echo, THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING. The amount of work put into making this script is incredible. Takes a bit figuring out, but when you realize it's a less is more method, it instantly becomes so easy. Bravo!

  This thing is sick! Thank you so very much for putting in the time and effort, and sharing it with us! I did have to watch your timelapse video frame by frame a few time, but eventually I got the hang of it. I can't wait for more videos on it, and also perhaps an intro on how you created this in animation nodes. I'm probably going to have learn python one of these days...

  This product is amazing!
  It takes a bit of time to figure out how the thing works, but once you do it makes the process so much easier. The results cannot be argued with... beautiful work!

  Karlis was also very helpful when I ran into a technical issue, he responded quickly, and I was able to carry on working in no time.

  Had to make a bunch of neon signs for a client and this helped a lot. Took some time to understand parameters and what does what though. Some details need manual adjustment after neon generation, but I guess that depends on your project. Overall good stuff!
