We use all pure vanilla Blender throughout this course. 

Rendering does require reasonable hardware and rendering volumetric lighting can be demanding on your GPU. 

For a comfortable experience working along with the videos we’d recommend checking the score of your GPU on the official Blender benchmark tests

For reference a score of 2500 and above should be a very comfortable experience, we have also tested many scenes with a GPU score of around 590 and consider this our minimum score recommendation. 

The course isn’t aimed at absolute beginners, we would expect anyone following along to have a basic understanding of navigating around the various viewports and interacting with the interface in general. 

It may also be useful to point out that we use screencast keys to help people follow along, many of the most important hotkeys are also highlighted onscreen for longer periods. 

We also try to repeat important information as much as possible despite that though some sections may get quite involved and require multiple viewings.

Yes, all videos will have subtitles (English), manually edited.
