Multilingual Periodic Table

by smice in Models

Here is a 3D model of a multilingual periodic table of chemical elements.

It is easy to switch between the seven languages via a geometry node switch. the languages are: German, English, French, Spanish, Icelandic, Arabic and Latin. Both the element names and the legend can be changed using a switch.

This periodic table consists of a basic grid in the form of the classic periodic table. For this, the vertices were sorted according to the pattern. Important: changes to the grid can lead to the sorting not longer being correct!

All other settings for appearance, size and colors are set via geometry nodes. The main changes can be made using switches in the geometry modifier.

In the package there is a file that supports Blender versions 3.6-4.0, but unfortunately it does not contain all the features. Even though the basic functions are the same, some settings are missing. Only Blender 4.1 version supports all the functions. Among other things, the Arabic language version is missing because this is only supported from Blender 4.1 onwards. I have stopped further development because of the missing functions before 4.1.

Please read the FAQ´s and Documentation for further information.
