Modifier Settings:

1. Start Frame : This is frame number at which this effect will start.

2. Force : The force strength by which the particles are pushed. Larger values will move

particles at higher speed and the distance covered will be more.

This can be balanced by following settings.

3. Scale Decrease By : Decrease in scale (in percentage) of particles per frame.

4. Decrease Scale From : Distance of particles from the object center after which the scale of particles will start decreasing.

5. Particles Life : Total number of frames for which the particles last since they spawned.

6. Mesh Subdivision : The subdivision of input mesh, this will affect the geometry of the shards/particles.

7. Triangulation Select : Particles as triangulated pieces of mesh, unchecked will use the mesh's original topology.
