Mcintosh Mt5 Turntable Rig
GEOMETRY
An handcrafted fan-made model of the famous MT5 turntable made by McIntosh.
The geometry is all quads and highly optimized with modifiers.
The model is well organized in collections with intuitive names.
ANIMATION
The model is rigged, animated and the spike adapts to the uneven surface of the rotating vinyl via modifiers.
To move the arm simply slide the offset factor in the "Follow path" modifier of the Empty on the tip from 0 to 1.
All is rigged with old school modifiers workflow.
SHADERS
All the shaders works both in eevee and cycles.
BONUS
A 33 LP with shaders and UV, plus a displacement modifier to simulate the aging and the distortions of the vinyl.
This is NOT a 1:1 copy, it's been modeled and textured with web references and it's purely decorative.All the rights belongs to the owners of the copyrights.
