  Back in Feb 2024 I purchased the addon, it looked really cool, especially the customable feature where you can make your own custom kitbash. However as soon as I installed the the addon and tried it slows Blender down and it made its UI changes (like Game tab appears above out of nowhere) and the custom kitbash ability of the addon extremely Clumsy. I already own dozens of addon and none of them behaved like that, NONE, ZERO! Then I realized later that this addon advertising the pre-made kitbash from thier website, like not only the addon is broke it also urging the user to buy thier kitbash, and they are not cheap.
  The addon is less broken when the user buys thier pre-made kitbash, apparently, as if it was designed for that exclusively to generate more profite faster.

  So in conclusion I decided to get a refund but I wasn't planing to drop any negative review about the addon because nobody is perfect.
  Since it was my first bad experince of Blender addon I could make it slide out, no problem.
  However, after contacting the owner of the addon to get a refund, I was very nice and respectful from my side, and he, with all fairness, he tried to help me to find a solution for that mess but there was no way, the addon is broken.
  So eventually we agreed upon a refund, here's why I decided to make this one star review. Before he was making the refund he started being cheeky with me by blaming me for not knowing how to use the addon, like "the addon is NOT broken it is me who do not know how to us it" lol. The audacity of him.

  We've had over 100,000 downloads of KIT OPS. I am sorry you were not able to make it work. My guess it was a configuration issue. Perhaps you had too many add-ons or installed it incorrectly.

  The latest version is also significantly faster than previous versions.

  We are always available to help and we have a Discord server where many users are active and help as well. I'm surprised you spent time penning a poor review 11 months after we refunded your money with no questions asked.

  all your addons add up to $559!!! it's really disappointing to see you selling 20 kpacks costing $20 each. with blender growing you would think your product would last, but i predict we'll see more paywalls in the future from you. learn to use blender people. imo Simple Tabs is the only useful addon u have and its free.

  I am sorry you feel that way. I launched KIT OPS Pro 6 years ago. Since then we have created over 30 upgrades and have never charged for them a single time. I believe charging $10 for a complete rewrite of the engine after 6 years is appropriate. If you do not think so then don't upgrade. You can still use your old version in all Blender versions prior to 4.2. Development and marketing for this product alone costs thousands of dollars each month. We do our best to improve it and keep it current with the latest Blender versions. We work to keep the documentation and videos up to date and provide a discord where I strive to help people with problems and provide support.

  Hi Chipp, your addons are very interesting. I purchased the "Kit Ops 2 Pro" and "Kit Ops Parallax" addons, as well as some Wparallax Room collections. However, I was unable to add the windows to achieve the reflection effect, as shown in your video, because they are not present in the list. I look forward to your explanation on this matter. Keep up the good work.

  Chipp Walters should be in the hall of fame for Blender. He always makes wonderful products that improve the speed of your workflow, but also make the workflow more fun while enhancing your scenes and objects. I will continue to support Chipp, here and on patreon.

  My favorite addon since I enjoy kitbashing a lot. Also the best asset management system for Blender. I have tried them all and KO is far better than anything else. If you add KO Batch as an extension then it becomes even better since you can convert entire folders with assets at once. If I only could have one addon then this would be it.

  Still finding new functions after months of using Kit Ops. There's a little bit of a learning curve (as with all things 3D) but it can really streamline your workflow if you take advantage of all the features. The price is very fair as well

  Beautiful package. Great options to make so many unique different things. Great tutorial videos that will help you become a pro at using it very quickly. The ability to even add your own creations to this to use them in your models is a huge bonus. This is a very well organized add-on that is creative flow friendly. The compatibility with other add-ons from this creator is also a great bonus. This saves me an incredible amount of time and saves my wrist from the usual back-and-forth.
