MATERIALS
The material uses various UV maps to better texture resolution when perform a Zoom-in Render.
You can change the decals (change text, logos) easily, the decals are in a separate UV map.

Rail tracks:
The rail tracks uses DupliFrames for easy duplication and some variations in the material.
Ground and Cargo:
Particle system in ground and cargo uses a single object with automatic variations in shape, random scale and color.
The number de particles used in the sample Renders is marked in the Particle System name.
OPTIONAL
This car can be duplicated by parenting to the object "Freight Car DUPLI" and activating the duplication method [Faces] in the Object Properties, an Array modifier whit exact values for distance between wagons is already configured.
