Geometrynodes Labels For Blender 3.3
Geometrynodes Labels is best used within the Asset-browser.
1. Create a Folder to use in the Assetbrowser. Copy the .Blend-file provided in there.
2. In the Blender Preferences got to "File Paths", click the plus-icon and browse to the newly created Folder with the Geometrynodes-Labels File
3. Open a new window in Blender, on the top Left of this window choose "Asset-Browser" - navigate to the newly assigned Folder by switching from "current File" to the Geometrynodes Labels Assets
USAGE
when importing a new label, a camera will be imported with it, make sure to change the camera in the Modifierstack of the new Label to the Camera you already have in your Blend-file as that is the "Focus" of the Label it should Point to.
Every Label has (at least) these Knobs and Sliders - use them!
1. The Distance to Camera determines if the label should sit directly on the Object, or in Front of the Camera.
Scale is used to scale the Label overall.
The String provided is the Text of the Label.
Offsets determine how the Label is Offset.
2. Animation
Each Label has a Start-Point, In Duration, Onscreen Duration and Fade Out Duration
3. The Look of the Label, Icon, Text and Line can be changed in Color. Also you can change the Background of the Text to give it more contrast.
