Geometry Stacks Generator

by Blender Easy in Modifier Setups

This tool creates geometry stacks from a collection in the surface of an object. As it does this by instancing the meshes, it`s very easy to your computer to handle. The only requirement is that the geometries from the collection need to have similar heights.

To use that you just need to "Append" the "Geometry Stacks.blend" to your scene, selecting the the "Geometry Stacks" inside the "NodeTree" folder.

After that you need to create a collection and add all of the meshes that you want to be stacked, with similar sizes to this collection.

Select the objects that are on the collection and set the origin to the center of the geometry by using; (Object>>Set Origin>> Origin to Geometry)

Choose a mesh to use as the surface that the geometry will gonna be stacked and add a Geometry Node modifier to it, selecting the "Geometry Stacks". Load the collection that you just created and play with the settings.

Send me a message or see the Documentation if you want some tips on how to use it!
