Geobreak
GeoBreak is an advanced add-on that revolutionizes the creation of targeted fractures, delivering significant performance gains. Unlike traditional tools, it ensures realistic fractures while preserving the texture and integrity of the original mesh, for an authentic, fluid rendering.
Designed to optimize every step, GeoBreak also features smoke simulation with Flow and Explode modes, perfect for adding dynamic effects with a single click. The wireframe preview mode lets you instantly display fractured areas, while the Damage mode targets edges and faces for neat degradation effects. An integrated counter shows the number of fragments generated in real time, for better management of your scene resources.
GeoBreak launch promo: $1 for the Lite and $19 for the Full, before returning to regular prices!
Description: Visualize your fractures with unrivalled precision thanks to the three levels of detail available in GeoBreak's wireframe mode: "Low", "Medium" and "Heavyweight". Choose the level that best suits your needs for optimum control over visual complexity. |
Default: Applies the object's base material without modification. Custom: Allows you to assign simple diffuse materials for the inside and outside of the fractured object. Combined: Retains the default texture on the outside of the object while applying the material defined in Custom mode to the inside of the fragments. |
Description: Uses any object as a target to precisely define the fracture zone. This mode is ideal for localized destruction effects, allowing high precision in the affected area. By positioning the target object, it becomes possible to simulate realistic fractures such as impacts or breaks directed at a specific area. |
Description: Applies the fracture to the entire object, without zone restriction. This mode is perfect for total destruction effects or scenarios where the object needs to be broken evenly. |
Description: Continuously emits smoke, ideal for simulating persistent smoke effects, such as an active fire or a smoke source slowly spreading across a scene. This mode allows continuous control of smoke emission, creating a realistic effect for scenarios requiring long-lasting smoke. |
Description: Simulates an explosion in which the smoke dissipates automatically. This mode is designed for explosion-type effects where the smoke gradually dissipates, imitating an impact or detonation followed by natural dispersion. It's ideal for scenes of instant destruction with smoke that gradually fades away. |
Description: targets object edges or faces to create damage effects. By applying Damage mode, users can choose to visually mark edges or surfaces to represent wear, cracks or impact. This mode is perfect for adding subtle details of deterioration or accentuating destruction, giving a more realistic rendering to fractures without the need for full decomposition. Beware: this greatly affects performance!. |
Description: Monitors the number of separated objects in real time. Ideal for easy tracking and handling of individual parts after fracturing. |
Description: Both functions apply to the entire fractured object. Solidify mode digs into the interior of the object, creating a depth effect in each fragment. Subdivision mode increases the number of subdivisions to obtain more detailed shapes. |
Cutting Deformation Modifier This modifier deforms the object used for cutting, influencing the final appearance of the fractures. It can be adjusted in three modes to vary the deformation: Noise : Applies random noise, adding irregularities to the cut.Euclidean : Uses deformations based on Euclidean distance, for a more symmetrical cut appearance.Distance to Edges: Deforms as a function of distance from edges. |
