What is the Ditto Add-on?

Ditto V3 is for Blender 4.2, previous versions can be used for 4.1.1.

• Supports Booleans, with colors via a Layers system.
• Supports a simple view of some modifiers that are in the Ditto Tools.
• Added support for Metaballs with smoothing, blending, and a Curve that can be used.
• Page will be updated, Ditto V3 was shortly released. Documentation is currently not update, but the Addon now is easier to use and have tool tips and a menu system.

Who is the Ditto Add-on for?

Anyone wanting to add a fast and flexible option to their workflow should consider this add-on. Although a fast PC is expected for most heavy-duty operations, this add-on was built with low-spec PCs in mind. It has settings for quick access and easy adjustment of resolution to allow faster work if necessary on slower PCs.

V3.1.1 - (8/31/2024)

• Boolean Layers now has a Preview obj with res set to high and Reduced res on for fast speed.

V3.1 - (8/29/2024)

• Ditto ADD Layers is no longer Red, but has improved in functionality, now there are presets for empty DL Layers, Boolean Setup, Ditto V1 and V2 blend, and MBall Setup.
• The Ditto Layers now have options from 10-20, Boolean only has 10.
• Now has a Reduce Res Feature, it will reduce res constantly and it's manual and adjustable. Allows you to maintain normal resolution.
  
• Fixed Pre Color Layer Style not showing up.
• The Boolean will no longer show options for Ditto Union.

V3.05 - (8/24/2024)

• Updated the Style adjust from a max of 20 to 200. (You can always bypass this number by selecting and inputting your own amount.)
• Fixed a tooltip misspelling description for 'Top Scale' for EX Blend.
• Changed the Icon in the addon to Match the New Ditto V3 Image.
• Turned Premirror off and clipping off, and adjusted the EX Blend setting from 1 to 0 for scaling. (Clipping works better for Metaballs.)

• Made all ditto tools wireframe from the start so you can just import them while blending.
• Collapsed the Geometry Node panels upon loading.
• Previous versions have been removed due to errors.

V2.03 - (7/9/2024)

• Fix issues with having a collection selected when adding a layer, works even if a collection is selected now.
• Fixed the Boolean switch for the V2, and it’s now operating like the other buttons.
• Fixed the buttons for the YouTube and discord images not showing up in the links section, and they are now showing up properly.
