This tool made with geometry nodes allows you to cut meshes using curves. It's very useful when you need to pass a cable through a mesh. It creates the curve that goes inside the mesh, the cut on the mesh and a frame the goes around the cut. I can also use the curve to generate an array of holes on the mesh, you can remesh the cutted area to get a better result.

You just need to append the .Blend file to your scene, load the CURVEBOOLEANS nodetree, add the geometry node to the object that you want, select a editable curve and asjust the settings;
