Corner Sharpener 2D & 3D
Why do I need to inset the face before using the add-on on the corner vertex?
The purpose of insetting the face is to ensure that the corner vertex has a face edge connected to it. If the object you want to sharpen already has a structure with a face edge connected to the corner vertices, insetting is not necessary.
Can I select a face to sharpen corners?
No, don't select faces. Either select a vertex for the 2D sharpener or edges for the 3D sharpener.
what is a corner vertex?
A corner vertex is defined as a vertex that is connected to two boundary edges and one face edge in the mesh.
