Confine_Lattice_Femur_Bone

by Tom Paul in Addons

1. ‘mainmodel’

Main model with respect  to its dimension which lattice will initially generate.

2. ‘steppercent’

It is the percentage of the interval length. Let say ‘intrv’ (interval value) is 100. Then steppercent=0.05 means cubic lattice width is 5 units. Lower the value higher the approximation to the mesh model but require more computing power. Try with these values 0.05,0.03,0.01 and see the changes.

3. boundpercent’

percentage increase in 3d mesh bounding box dimension. 1.2 means dimenions higher by 20% in that direction ,if 100% is the object dimension. Let say object maximum x dimension is 23, then grid maximum grid dimension in x axis is 23*1.2=27.6.

4. ‘lattice_size’

Indicates number of lattice in [-1,1] volumetric interval. Higher the number smaller the unit lattice with more lattice occupying the volume. Lower the number bigger the unit lattice with less lattice occupying the volume.

5. lattice_thickness’

It is the thickness between two offsetted lattice surfaces of same type.

6. ‘lattice_coefficients’

Changes the shape while topology remain same.
