Stairs can be a very picky thing to deign using Blender's default tools.  Sometimes all you need is an evenly measured flight of stairs that you can drop into your scene - especially when you're in the early design stages of your level.

This addon provides two new options that appear under 'Add Mesh' that lets you set a few parameters and instantly produces a set of stairs.  Create straight staircases or spiral ones with just a few clicks.
