Summary: this course is mostly good, but it leaves something to be desired. I would not recommend it for beginners. I am an intermediate user, and I knew a lot of what was taught. But, if I were a complete beginner, I would have had a lot of trouble since there isn't a lot of conceptual explanation.

If you are an intermediate user who has focused mostly on character modeling like I have, then this course has a good deal of new information to offer. But if you are just starting out, this course might get you into some bad habits.

    Pros:
    - Teaches some underrated techniques like how to make an asset library and batch-generate previews
    - Demonstrates step-by-step how to model a building
    - Makes a pleasant-looking final product

    Cons:
    - Sometimes gives bad advice re: underlying geometry, e.g.:
    - frequent use of alt-f to fill edge loops with triangles instead of "grid fill" to fill with quads. Quads are preferable to triangles for shading and deformation.
    - Mostly destructive processes rather than parametric design, e.g.:
    - fiddly modeling steps
    - minimal use of non-destructive modifiers
    - no use of arrays or linked copies
    - no use of nurbs curves, bezier curves, etc.
    - Imprecise movements, e.g.:
    - no use of snapping
    - inaccurate alignment of objects (granted it's a medieval building)
    - Occasionally gives incorrect information, e.g.:
    - calling edge-select mode "vert-select" and calling edges "verts"
