Apple Iphone 14 Series

Important Notes

All Models

** The appearance of the back glass material is highly dependent on the lighting of the scene **

** Due to EEVEE’s limitations in accurately rendering glass, Cycles would be the best engine to use to achieve realistic results. **

- All required textures are packed into the blend file. Should there be any issues with them, there is an included "Textures" folder that contains every texture file in png format.

- Not every object uses textures. The objects that do not use textures use Blender materials created using Blender's standard shader editor.

- Each model’s parent object includes a “Wallpaper Option” custom property. This custom property is an integer value between 0 and 1 that drives the factor of a mix node in the screen material that affects the displayed wallpaper. The toggle can be used to display one of the factory wallpapers, or a custom wallpaper the user can choose. When set to 0, the wallpaper would be set to a factory wallpaper and when set to 1, the wallpaper would be set to a custom wallpaper the user can change. The selected factory wallpaper would change depending on the selected color. The custom wallpaper can be changed by navigating to the shader editor and selecting an image in the lower most image texture. This image texture should already have an image named “Wallpaper 4 (light).png” selected. This is what should be changed.

- The default wallpapers use a UV map optimized for images that match the iPhone’s default aspect ratio. By default, the custom wallpaper uses a UV map optimized for square images. If the desired image uses the iPhone’s aspect ratio, the UV node can be changed to accommodate such an image.

- The wallpaper materials on all models are linked to an “iPhone Color Options” custom property which means the displayed wallpaper corresponds with the correct color option (more details below).

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus

- The iPhone 14 (Plus) has 5 color options. Blue, Purple, Midnight, Starlight, and Product Red. These colors can be cycled through in the “Color Options” custom property of the “iPhone 14” or “iPhone 14 Plus” parent objects (depending on the model) which can be found in two places: The “Custom Properties” drop-down in the “Object Properties” tab or the “Properties” drop-down in the “Item” tab. This custom property is an integer value from 1 to 5 that drives the factor of a more in-depth Color Ramp node group. This factor value cycles through the 5 color options. Simply put, the color can be changed by changing the custom property value.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max

- The iPhone 14 Pro (Max) has 4 color options. Deep Purple, Gold, Silver, and Space Black. These colors can be cycled through in the “iPhone Color Options” custom property of the “iPhone 14 Pro” or “iPhone 14 Pro Max” parent objects (depending on the model) which can be found in two places: The “Custom Properties” drop-down in the “Object Properties” tab or the “Properties” drop-down in the “Item” tab. This custom property is an integer value from 1 to 4 that drives the factor of a more in-depth Color Ramp node group. This factor value cycles through the 4 color options. Simply put, the color can be changed by changing the custom property value.
