This add-on is a simple add-on that aligns selected objects evenly in a cube shape.

A grouping function is provided accoring to the name of the object,

The order criteria for grouping is a period (.) The grouping order is sorted by period (.).

If you wish to change the grouping criteria, you can change it in the Preferences screen to a symbol of your choice, e.g. underbar.
